Hey Bestie!
At RNPREPBESTIE, the mission is simple: help future nurses think clearly, act safely, and move with confidence.

This isn’t about memorizing more. It’s about understanding patterns, recognizing risk, and knowing why you’re choosing one answer over another. You already have the foundation. My role is to challenge your thinking, sharpen your judgment, and give you the structure to apply what you know under pressure.

You bring the discipline.
I bring the framework.
The results follow.

My Story
I’m proud to say I’ve worked across many areas of nursing, including Med Surg, oncology, rehabilitation, research, home health, school nursing, and mental health. Each role expanded my perspective, but nothing shaped my understanding of healthcare more than becoming a patient myself.

In June 2024, I was hospitalized and diagnosed with a chronic illness. I suddenly found myself on the other side of the bed, navigating fear, uncertainty, and vulnerability. In those moments, I understood even more deeply what it means to have a nurse who is calm, competent, and compassionate.

That experience strengthened my commitment to this work. I am passionate about helping future nurses develop not only knowledge, but clinical judgment, steadiness, and confidence under pressure. Healthcare needs nurses who can think clearly and care deeply.

You are needed in this field. And I am here to help you prepare for it.
Education
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
Aug 2010 - May 2016
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Prairie View A&M University, home of the Mighty Panthers. This is where my journey began, filled with passion and purpose. My time at Prairie View not only equipped me with the essential knowledge and skills needed for nursing but also instilled a deep commitment to serving others.
Master's of Science in Nursing Education
Aug 2018 - June 2020
I obtained my Master’s degree in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Arlington, where my journey as an educator truly blossomed. As a school nurse, I initiated a program teaching 4th graders various health topics like how to conduct vital signs and distinguish between the common cold and the flu. This experience ignited my passion for teaching and solidified my commitment to educating future nurses.
